I was able to go to the National Conference in Indianapolis and meet highly recognized speakers and organizations throughout the world. This is a great oppurtunity to not only join a professional organization in our line of work, but to also get out there and meet people. I was able to learn some new games like Netball, which was originated by the man who created basketball,James Naismith. This sport has many benefits for everyone and all ability levels. Netball really allows students who are not great at basketball, to enjoy the idea of the sport. Netball is dominated in Europe but can easily be brought into our culture and into our classrooms.
