Intro to lesson (Stretching for Long Jump)

Stretching is essential for all sports, it allows for the muscles to reach their full potential. The tighter a muscle is, the less work and ability comes from that muscle. So remember to strecth thoroughly before and after any strenuous activity.

Two main points that would improve my intro could be, speaking a little louder, and shorten the length of the demonstration. It was beneficial for me to have two students who were familiar with strecthing, they were able to show the proper techniques. I would say that it was appropriate to have two students of the same sex involved for this demonstration, this should create a much safer and more appropriate setting, especially for the younger to junior high students. It went fairly smooth, but improvement is always necessary.
